Residential Childen's Worker

Are you interested in working with young people with complex and challenging needs? If so, Modus are looking for Residential Children’s Workers. We are an innovative residential childcare service, totally committed to the rights of children and young people and are based in Todmorden. We are unrivalled in our standards of placement stability and continuity, providing a cornerstone of family and group living for children and young people from the ages 8-18 years.

You must have relevant social care experience with children and the NVQ 3 in Working with Children and Young People. You will have experience of working with challenging behaviours and an understanding of the needs of traumatised children, alongside excellent communication and listening skills. Successful candidates will have a demonstrable, creative approach to meeting needs. You will creatively contribute to an environment where our small group of children live, learn and work together and confidently provide safe, positive, person centred living experiences focused on need and outcomes.
